Hello Reader, I know that you have been considering your summer break for some time. Especially now that you're in the flurry of ending the term. Part of what you look forward to in the summer, in addition to resting, is the real possibility of moving your writing projects along for tenure and/or promotion. In this environment, moving projects along for tenure and promotion has become particularly challenging. In this environment, your ability to publish becomes more urgent. A colleague of mine, Michelle Thompson, PhD, has an offering that will help you clear the decks to get your article published by the end of the summer. She knows what you're up against during the summer - family vacations that drain you, undoing the exhaustion that you never seem to shake. She also knows that writing can be 4 steps forward, 5 steps back, and that there's nothing more necessary than a system for moving your articles forward.
At the end of the summer, she is hosting an in-person writing retreat called Summer Writing in the Adirondacks. The dates are from July 28 - July 31 in the Adirondack mountains of New York State. In order to make sure you have the space and time to write, the following will be included in the price:
During the retreat, she will share with you ways to systematize your writing practice so that you can continue to work effectively on your project after you leave using even the smallest intervals of time. If getting something published by the end of the summer is your top priority, you would be remiss if you did not consider Summer Writing in the Adirondacks with Michelle. Here's the website link where you can set up a conversation with her to learn more. Until next time, |
